Sheppard Pratt School and Residential Treatment Center is a year-round therapeutic educational and residential program for middle and high school-aged youths with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities. While in our care, youth attend an on-site, full-day, special and general education school that operates a 12-month program.

What to expect.
You will assess, develop, and implement behavior support plans for students with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
Specific responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans (BIPs). Conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and ongoing assessments to monitor progress. Providing training and support to caregivers and staff on behavior management techniques and intervention strategies. Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

What we need from you.
Master’s degree in a related field of study. 2 years of behavior assessment and management experience. For internal candidates: a bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience (2 of which must be within SPHS) would be considered a substitute for a master’s degree.#IND123
