Grafton, MA Position Type Full Time Education Level 2 Year Degree Salary Range $48000.00 Salary Job Category Education Description The Grafton Job Corps is seeking a School Cafeteria Manager to join our team! We are a vocational training school that assists 16-24 years old students with academic and career training. We help them obtain jobs in their trade (i.e. Nursing, Plumbing, Security, etc.) when they separate from the program. This position oversees the Cafeteria area and the Food Service Staff, making sure our students get the nutrition they need. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Pay is $48,000 annually Position Summary: Responsible for the supervision and management of the food service area Responsibilities: + Oversee the Center food preparation activities. + Manage the dining room, student monitors, student behavior and Food Service department. + Ensures quality control, plan menus, coordinate food purchases and manages food service's budget. + Ensures sanitation compliance and the overall cleanliness of all food service areas. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEAssociates Degree from an accredited school and one year of management/supervisory experience required. Degree requirement may be substituted with 5 years Food Service Supervisory Experience. Three to five years in institutional food preparation and technical training preferred. Must have or be able to obtain ServSafe credentials.Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance. “Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
