District located in La Plata, MD
Position: School Health Nurse | RN
Start Date: 2/120/25 Length: Remainder of 24/25 SY Shift: M-F | 37.5 hr/wk
Openings/setting:
– 4-5 Full time float pool nurses (sent to any school within CCPS, will be lower level nursing compared to community role, med reminders, calling parents, addressing school injuries, etc.) – 2 community nurses requires prior experience in school or community health nursing

General Details:  Med reminders, calling parents, addressing school injuries, etc. Health suite nurse has supervision from 3 nurse supervisor/managers from the board of education available.  Typically there are 2 nurses at each school available at all times, which is what these vacancies are for.  However, if a school has no coverage, our nurse would be asked to float and cover empty schools to ensure there is always a nurse on site.


Requirements/Credentials: RN certifications/Licenses 

W2 position employee with Amergis Staffing (Not the district), you will only be expected to work hours assigned on the contract. No unpaid required after school duties.
