EF ACADEMY is a private international boarding school in Thornwood, NY. We seek a part time compassionate and empathetic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nursing Team in the Health Center which serves a high school population of 250+ teenagers.The school Nurse is responsible for delivering exceptional healthcare services to our students during weekdays after school and evening hours (15-18 hours/week). Duties include case management for students who have been previously admitted to the health Center during the day, as well as assessment and care for new patients who are present during evening hours. The school Nurse works in conjunction with the nursing team, the mental health team, the athletic trainer, area urgent care offices and other local medical providers including hospitals to manage all medical needs.The person we are looking for has:Active NYS nursing license (RN)Current BLS for Healthcare ProvidersPrevious experience working with the pediatric or adolescent population (preferred)Magnus Health experience (preferred)Solid assessment, clinical, documentation skills, strong attention to detail and collaborative skillsPatient-oriented and exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills Salary: $30-$40/ per hour based on experience.
