Job Title: Elementary School Nurse (Registered Nurse)

Location: Rocky Point, NC area

Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our elementary school in Wilmington, NC. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality healthcare to our students, ensuring their well-being and supporting their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic health conditions. Conduct health screenings and assessments. Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific health needs. Maintain accurate health records and documentation. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and wellness. Educate students and staff on health-related topics and promote a healthy school environment. Respond to health emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina. Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. CPR and First Aid certification.
