Position Summary: Assess the learning, development, and skills of assigned students and prepare high quality, comprehensive evaluations to assist in the determination of their individual educational and programmatic needs. Compensation: $45 per hour * Offers based on education and years of relevant experience Position Specific Duties/Responsibilities: + Develop and prepare high quality comprehensive evaluations of school-age clients consistent with best practice standards and which address the role and weight of the intellectual, percept motor, and neuropsychological, emotional, behavioral and psychosocial status of each client. + Determine the appropriate individual and programmatic needs of students by developing and maintaining accurate records and preparing and submitting reports in a timely manner. + Assist in the development of a Functional Behavioral Analysis (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) for students as necessary. + Work as part of the Student Support Team to educate and guide students, staff, and parents toward successful outcomes and support student academic and social success. + Be able to share and explain reports to all stakeholders in language they can understand and use. + Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities + Must have excellent communication skills + Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented + Ability to work independently and be an enthusiastic team player + Ability to physically restrain + Ability to work effectively with clients, staff, families, and community contacts Qualifications + MS and Doctorate in Psychology, NYS Certification as School Psychologist
