AnthroMed Education is currently seeking to hire a social worker with one of our amazing charter school partners in Washington, DC. We are currently building our DC team as there is a vacancy for the school year. This position is in one building with supportive leadership. You would be collaborating with Teachers, Parents, School Counselors, and other key stakeholders.

Position Title: School Social Worker

School Social Worker Duties:Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to students Implement individualized plans to address identified needsCollaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create a supportive school environment Act as liaison between the school, families, and community to ensure students receive necessary servicesProvide immediate support and intervention in crisis situationsConduct workshops and training sessions for students, parents, and staff on topics related to social skills and child development Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress  
Social Worker Qualifications:Previous school-based and/or pediatric social work experience is preferredMaster's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Social Work District of Columbia Government Department of Health Social Work LicenseDistrict of Columbia Certification as a School Social WorkerAnthroMed is an Equal Opportunity Employer
