School Social Worker

AnthroMed Education is currently seeking to hire a social worker with one of our amazing charter school partners in Washington, DC. We are currently building our DC team as there is a vacancy for the school year. This position is in one building with supportive leadership. You would be collaborating with Teachers, Parents, School Counselors, and other key stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits:Pay Range: $63,910 - $81,720 (based on qualifications and experience).

Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to studentsImplement individualized plans to address identified needsCollaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create a supportive school environmentAct as liaison between the school, families, and community to ensure students receive necessary servicesProvide immediate support and intervention in crisis situationsConduct workshops and training sessions for students, parents, and staff on topics related to social skills and child developmentMaintain accurate records of student interactions and progress
Social Worker Qualifications:
Previous school-based and/or pediatric social work experience is preferredMaster's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Social Work District of Columbia Department of Health Social Work LicenseAnthroMed is an Equal Opportunity Employer:
