AnthroMed Education is currently hiring a social worker to join our team and support one of our amazing charter school partners in Washington, DC. The vacancy is immediate and will last the remainder of the 24-25 school year with the opportunity to renew. Position Title: School Social Worker

Location: Washington, DC

 Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range: $63,910 - $81,720 (based on qualifications and experience).

School Social Worker Duties:

Develop, write, and implement IEP goals for counseling services to studentsImplement individualized plans to address identified needsCollaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create a supportive school environmentAct as liaison between the school, families, and community to ensure students receive necessary servicesProvide immediate support and intervention in crisis situationsConduct workshops and training sessions for students, parents, and staff on topics related to social skills and child developmentMaintain accurate records of student interactions and progress

 

Social Worker Qualifications:

Previous school-based and/or pediatric social work experience is preferredMaster's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Social Work Must have LICSWDistrict of Columbia Government Department of Health Social Work LicenseDistrict of Columbia Certification as a School Social Worker
