WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As an Oversight Market & Structural Risk Analyst you will work on follow-up, monitoring and analysis of Initial Margin and Variation Margin valuation discrepancies at Santander Group level identifying possibilities for management improvements.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
Support the different exercises to comply with the regulatory requirements for the managing of the Initial Margin for Santander SA: Generation of daily OnGoing and Discrepancies with counterparties reportsManagement and review of the implemented Initial Margin model (mainly using SIMM). Continuous model improvement and analysis.Support the units for the improvement of Initial Margin management and projects with impact on the metric.Monitoring and follow up of the Variation Margin discrepancies at Group level.Identification of gaps in the valuation models from daily reconciliations of Initial Margin and Variation Margin data with the counterparts.Identification of differences in risk assessment and metrics between the different units of the group and homogenizationParticipation in model validations and audits.Support in the control of the Counterparty Risk of collateralized tradesEXPERIENCE
4-5 years of experienceEDUCATION
University studies in Engineering, Mathematics or Economy.Ideally Master's degree in Quantitative Finance and/or Valuation ModelingSKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to identify the objective and priorities of each task as well as to raise critical and relevant issues to his/her superior.Strong knowledge of valuation and calculation methodologies.
