What you’ll doWork with other content development staff to develop accredited content for projects in multiple formats (multimedia, text, and live) for physicians (CME), nurses (CE), and pharmacists (CPE) that is clinically appropriate, instructionally sound, adherent to industry regulations, and completed within budget and time scale to the highest quality. Collaborate with internal team members and external educational partners to obtain details and direction for new assignments prior to developing contentUse templates and tools to edit (clinical and line edit) content received from faculty/authors for clarity, medical/scientific accuracy, alignment with learning objectives, product specifications, and consistency with the target learner audienceWrite summary statements to enhance content received from faculty/authors Develop PowerPoint presentations for multimedia programs and figures for text programsPerform fact-checking of internal team members’ contentIncorporate revisions based on input from cross-functional internal and external teamsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of important clinical issues, relevant literature, clinical practice guidelines, approved therapeutic drugs and regimens, and therapeutic pipelinesLearn new therapeutic areas as needed based on project assignments Travel a few times a year for training opportunitiesWhat you’ll need to bringA graduate with an advanced medical degree (PharmD, RN, NP, PA, PhD) or a Bachelor of Science degree (life sciences, public health, or clinical sciences) with relevant work experience Comfortable in a highly deadline-driven environment, and able to pivot quickly between tasks and adapt to rapidly shifting prioritiesSufficient background in a wide range of therapeutic areas, including cardiology, immunology and infectious diseases to be conversant on key/emerging issues related to prevention, diagnosis, and treatmentExcellent editorial (editing and writing) skills in developing multimedia, text, and live Medical Education activities; familiarity with AMA styleKnowledge of ACCME standards
