1Shift: First Shift (United States of America)Summary: Dr. Sheheryar Kabraji in the Department of Medicine is looking for a Scientific Program Manager (HRI Scientist) to organize and streamline clinical and translational research activities in the Dept. of Breast Medicine. Responsibilities include monitoring Breast Medicine’s ongoing projects (retrospective studies, database studies, translational studies, both single-center and multi-center projects); assist with writing and submitting abstracts, manuscripts, presentations and grant applications; assist with data organization and tracking; help navigate processes related to the conduct of clinical trials along with guidance from the Clinical Trials Office (protocol development, regulatory, IRB, contracts, INDs, etc.); facilitate communications among key stakeholders, liaise with external collaborators and public relations.The starting salary for this position is estimated to be $80,000 annually, which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills and experience.Qualifications:Required Education and Experience
1. M.D. or PhD in an appropriate field; or
2. Master’s degree in an appropriate field.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
The preferred candidate will have a postgraduate degree as well as prior experience in the area of clinical/translational research in oncology. In addition, the preferred candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, pay significant attention to detail, have good time management and organizational skills, and be self-motivated and directed.
