Your key responsibilities

Develop safe, innovative, competitive, scalable chemical processes to optimize the sustainability of our chemical processes applying Green Chemistry principles and new technologies.Participation in the transfer of optimized processes to pilot/commercial plants and provide troubleshooting support for production plants.Lead a laboratory with 2 technicians.Actively promote and strictly enforce the company’s SHE policies and rules in the lab and throughout the site. Apply proper methods to assess result of a process step by appropriate purification and analysis. Write technical, project reports, presentations, and peer-reviewed scientific publications.Perform literature and patent search for projects, well conversant with scifinder, reaxys, etc. e-resources available.Ensure exhaustive documentation of the experiments done in the labs and summarize in a development report the results obtained.Result oriented, highly passionate, and dynamic working attitude.     Networking with business and outside scientific community.

You bring:

Ph.D. in Chemistry with in-depth knowledge of and hands on experience in organic synthesis with 7 to 10 years’ experience in similar kind of industriesSound understanding of analytical techniques such as IR, NMR, Mass, HPLC, GC and others.Sound understanding of Process safety and Process engineering principles.Good understanding and previous exposure to pilot plant/ Industrial plantCurious, open minded with excellent communication skill for successful teamwork
