The Immunology and Inflammation Research and Early Development Therapeutic Area in Sanofi is building a world-class immunology team and is seeking highly motivated scientists to lead projects evaluating novel therapies in the fields of Type 2 Inflammation, Immune Checkpoint Biology, Type 1/17 Inflammation, and Immune Regulation & Tolerance.
We have an exciting opportunity to join Type 2 Inflammation as a Scientist at our new Cambridge Crossing research campus. The candidate will help drive breakthroughs in mechanism of action, conduct in vitro pharmacology studies, and participate in search of biomarkers, and analyze therapeutic responses in pre- clinical models for mono- and combination therapeutic candidates. The candidate will work closely with project team and other disciplines across Sanofi to drive early discovery research programs into early clinical development, providing scientific and technical leadership.

Main Responsibilities:
Work with drug discovery project teams to support championing projects from discovery into early clinical development.
Develop strategies and technologies needed to conduct experiments and analytical procedures, applying a wide variety of scientific principles and concepts.
Develop and utilize innovative preclinical animal models that enable the interrogation of mechanism of action of immune responses that can dictate drug discovery and development projects.
Help establish interactions with collaborators within and outside the Immunology and Inflammation Research and Early Development Therapeutic Area.
Prepare publications and research documentation in accordance with Sanofi quality standards.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in 2023-2025 Sanofi PharmD Fellows Program
Must have PhD/PharmD in Immunology or Biomedical Science or related field
2 years of relevant research experiences in an academic or biopharmaceutical setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with in vitro functional assays using human immune cells and animal models of human disease is desirable.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment to apply innovative methodologies for drug discovery.
Excellent interpersonal skills to contribute at group level to multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work collaboratively across disciplines.
