Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an ELISA Product Development Scientist for Animal Health.

The Scientist for designing, developing, and optimizing Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays (ELISA) specifically for animal health applications. In addition, the scientist will generate data packages for regulatory submissions and engage in manufacturing transfer and on-market product support.

Key Responsibilities:

Support design and development of ELISA assays for animal health applications;

Support optimization of existing ELISA protocols for improved performance and accuracy;

Conducting experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results;

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes;

Staying updated with the latest advancements in immunology, molecular biology, and assay development;

Contributing to the improvement of diagnostic tools and solutions for the veterinary industry.

Requirements:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in cell, molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry or other life science related field with 3+ years industry experience/ Master's degree with 1+ year of industry experience;

Background in immunology, molecular biology, and assay development;

Previous experience in ELISA development and optimization;

Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation;

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams;

Passion for contributing to the improvement of diagnostic tools and solutions for the veterinary industry.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €26 200,00–€39 250,00.
