Responsibilities You will translate customer requirements and program needs to develop new and improved concepts, principles, and/or techniques that will advance the body of knowledge of computer science and adapt and apply advanced computer science methods. You will develop, implement, and maintain information systems, Cyber Security programs, policies, procedures, and/or tools to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and/or data. You will manage and complete multidimensional, complex tasks with multiple dependencies independently, mentor others regularly ensuring appropriate succession, and leads others to accomplish complex, cross-organizational goals. You will apply oral and written communication skills to effectively interface with personnel at all levels and has proven ability to support briefings or presentations to mid- to high level stakeholders. You will provide significant engineering and technical risks/issues management and make technical recommendations for architectural changes to resolve systemic problems with a System of Systems approach. You will remain cognizant of new capabilities and technologies across DoD and industry, review for relevance to the system and make recommendations for component and architecture upgrades. You will participate in technical design meetings and reviews to ensure timely development, testing and implementation of capabilities. You will capture design details and relevant information to support selection of design trade-offs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band ND-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Develop and implement information systems, Cyber Security programs, policies, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and/or data. Education Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus.
