We are currently seeking a Scientist I Reagents Manufacturing who will be responsible for formulating, filling and packaging reagent products of varied complexity according to operational plans and customer demand with minimal supervision.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Manufacture products according to standard operating procedures and practices, and maintains accurate records of work performed according to GLP, GMP, and QSRsPerform pertinent tests to determine chemical and/or physical properties, composition, structure, relationships, and reactions, utilizing spectrophotometry, electrophoresis Flow Cytometers, Particle Counters/Sizers and other laboratory techniquesParticipate in a Continuous Process Improvement Team, and is a contributor to team efforts within the departmentTrain and advise production personnel in manufacturing procedures for product formulations and testingParticipate in troubleshooting of various methods of production processes and recommend solutions or process improvements

The required qualifications for the job include:

Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry or related field requiredMust be able to follow approved work instructions with attention to detailAbility to work within a team environmentPossesses excellent communication and time management skillsExperience with MS Office products, email

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Previous laboratory work experience preferred, especially in an FDA/ISO regulated manufacturing environmentPrevious leadership experience in coaching and workflow management.
