Tasks and Responsibilities:Support Sales teams in achieving the order plan by providing exceptionally high-quality pre-sales support through customer visits, product/application/software demonstrations, seminars/workshops, and sample analysis.Provide post-sales support by training and visiting customers, delivering email and telephone support, and following up on customers' requests.Collaborate closely with Service Engineers to resolve application and instrument issues, providing technical coaching and training on-site.Assist customers in designing, setting up, and optimizing experiments on Thermo Fisher Scientific cellular analysis systems in their laboratories.Acquire and maintain scientific and competitive knowledge and market segment overview to support customers, Sales, and Service. Keep updated with the scientific community. Train colleagues on new products/applications as necessary.Identify and feedback market conditions and product opportunities to Sales & Marketing.Work effectively with Sales and Service in regional/key accounts of responsibility.Track, record, and document relevant information of all customer technical enquiries in our CRM tools.Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Cellular Biology, or equivalent experience.Laboratory experience, particularly in Molecular Biology with expertise in animal/plant/human Genetics and technologies performing CNV or genotyping.Proven experience in presenting technical materials in written and verbal form.Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical reports and apply mathematical and statistical data analysis.Flexibility to travel throughout the area of responsibility: Primary responsibility for Germany.Fluent language skills in German and English.Preferred Qualifications:Technically savvy individual capable of assessing customer experimental needs to support salespeople in demonstrations, training, and optimization to ensure customer success.Problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot technical problems.Excellent communicator able to address customers at all technical levels.Great teammate who can collaborate effectively across functions and coordinate efforts between Support, Service, and Sales.
