Job Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the team of Cell biologists in Vilnius R&D and together with international project team work on the development of products for cell therapy customers. We supply our customers with key technologies and tools for use in cell therapy applications. To further strengthen our capabilities, we are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and engaged R&D Scientist (Immunologist/Cell biologist/Molecular biologist or another relevant field).

KEY Responsibilities:

Work in the field of cell biology / immunology; developing tools and methods for the use in product functionality / quality analysis.Design and perform research experiments together with the project team.Document results of the studies in comprehensive reports, present them to peers or partners, prepare relevant technical documentation.Validate immunoassays and bioassays in accordance with ICH guidelines and / or customer requirements.Mentor less experienced staff, independently lead technical projects of limited scopeProvide ideas for new products.

Requirements for qualification / Education / Experience:

MS degree with 3+ years of experience or PhD in cell, molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry or other life science related fieldDesired technical skills:Immunoassays - ELISA, WB, and others Mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, microscopy,DNA/RNA analysis by qPCRBeads/microspheres-based cell isolation and activation.Commonly used procedures for protein analysis (SDS-PAGE, UV spectrophotometry, etc.) Act as a subject matter expert in immunoassay fieldKnowledge in statistical methods, regulations pertaining to cell therapy and biologics would be an advantage.Highly motivated to work in a high pace environment, committed to complete all tasks on time.Possess strong team skills in a collaborative and transparent working environmentRespect, understand, and value individual differences.

Compensation

The salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €34 700,00–€52 025,00.
