Scientist Innovative Brewing

What You’ll do

As a Scientist in Innovative Brewing, you will spearhead groundbreaking research to develop new brewing processes and products. You’ll work within the R&D Innovation team to collaborate globally, helping to shape the future of Heineken’s portfolio. Your expertise will influence everything from raw materials to brewing processes to product properties, ensuring that innovation is at the heart of what we do.
 

Responsibilities:

Lead and co-develop innovative research projects that support Heineken’s global portfolio development. Implement experimental approaches and fast iterations to fuel consumer-focused innovations. Build and maintain strong internal and external networks to share knowledge and drive breakthroughs. Provide expert knowledge on brewing processes, raw materials, enzymes, and biochemistry to inspire teams worldwide. Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and processes.


Who You Are
To be successful in this role, we’re looking for someone with:

A PhD or equivalent in biochemistry, food chemistry, brewing, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in applied R&D, preferably in brewing or related fields. Expertise in data interpretation, with the ability to translate insights into actionable business recommendations. Passionate about experimenting and applying new technologies to drive innovation. Skilled at building strong, collaborative networks internally and externally to accelerate breakthroughs.
