All to leave your mark for more sustainable growth. **What you´ll do** + This role involves planning and practically performing laboratory assignments, the measurement of physical properties and validation of product performance and stability. + The individual draws conclusions based on data, then proposes and directs next steps. + The individual functions as part of an integrated cross functional team. + Actively seeks to understand and utilizes the understanding of chemical structure/function relationships pertaining to material performance delivered from a formulation matrix. + Other responsibilities include: Developing “demo's” to support commercial executions + Works closely with R&D’s cross-functional teams (i.e packaging, process development, product testing, and manufacturing) during the development and commercialization of products. + Works closely with business partners (i.e. marketing, supply chain, finance, purchasing) when appropriate. + Obtains data to evaluate the composition and performance of competitive offerings. + Ensures accurate data is generated during laboratory testing and is reported according to standard operating procedures or customer requirements. + Prepares and delivers presentations, both written and oral, to various levels of management. + Responsible for completing raw material and formula submissions as part of the master data process. + Conducts laboratory work and equipment maintenance in accordance with standard operating procedures. + Ensures laboratory is kept in a clean, orderly, and safe manner and reports any deficiencies to laboratory supervisor. **What makes you a good fit** + Education — Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent Science or Engineering related field. + Experience — 0-5 years of relevant laboratory and industry experience. + Desirable skills — Strong communication skills and ability to utilize good judgement to make timely, practical, and technically sound decisions. + Certifications and licenses — NA **Some perks of joining Henkel** + Flexible work scheme with flexible hours, hybrid and work from anywhere policies + Diverse national and international growth opportunities + Globally wellbeing standards with health and preventive care programs + Gender-neutral parental leave for a minimum of 8 weeks + Employee Share Plan with voluntary investment and Henkel matching shares + Annual performance bonus + Comprehensive healthcare including mental health support and 401(k) plan matched by employer + Family benefits including fertility support, fully paid parental leave, caregiver services + 1 day off, sickness leave, holidays, volunteer time off, summer Fridays & more The salary for this role is $73,300.00 - $ 105,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.
