INDUSTRIES GSC Electronics Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesAs GSC Electronics SCM Manager, your mission is to translate the Business vision and BL Global D&SCM strategy into a local master plan. You will support the growth of GSC Electronics by leading the Demand & Supply Chain Management (D&SCM) throughout the extended value chain, from Suppliers to End Customer, with full accountability for developing, implementing and running safe, compliant, sustainable and lean SCM operations, in accordance with Company instructions and procedures. You will be responsible for developing the supply chain across different countries to support the ELGSC business growth globally, set up the ELGSC global supply chain strategy by leading the localization initiative and supplier base rationalizationYou will be reporting to GSC Electronics Manager and functionally to INDUSTRIES BL Global SCM Manager. • Supports development and implementation of Global SCM strategies for areas such as QDC Optimization, Suppliers portfolio diversification, Strategic Sourcing from low-cost countries, Process & Excellence, Finance, Risk Management, Supply Base Management, Quality and Sustainability. Builds and develops a network of key suppliers and integration partners while implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with the Business strategy and D&SCM guidelines. Ensures that suppliers enrolled have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.• In accordance with Group D&SCM guidelines and INDUSTRIES Business Line objectives, implements programs to qualify & develop suppliers, drive improvement in cost, quality, delivery and working capital (payment terms, lead times, order quantities and purchased material inventory). Manages directly with the suppliers for each project the ordering, quality satisfaction and on time delivery, together with local SCM dedicated team.• Manages E2E SRM Supplier Relationship Management, ensuring smooth, cost-effective, and high-quality standards operations. Player-coach approach to manage planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, minimize risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and in accordance with Company guidelines. Responsible for anticipating, arranging and coordinating Suppliers Business Award Reviews, Procurement in Projects Risk Reviews, involving requested local and global teams.Negotiates TCO/TCI for goods and services purchased throughout the value chain, considering different purchasing scenarios (turnkey/EPC/fixed price/ portion packages). Being able to travel to Southeast Asia, East Asia and Europe to develop local supply chain• Suppliers Risk Management control.Oversees planning and Electronics of incoming materials and services based on the Procurement Plan and project schedule. Updates the Procurement Plan on a regular basis and ensures sufficient stock and inventory management. • Defines and establishes local standard agreements with all major local suppliers. Provides and maintains standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with Company directives and guidelines. Leads resolution of supplier performance and relationship management issues for the GSC.
Qualifications for the roleRequired Master’s degree in supply chain or equivalent and a minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Engineering background as a plus to be able to speak to GSC for solution requirement Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams, in multicultural and international environment Previous experience in team management and development Management level communication skills Previous experience in robotics, Electronics markets would be a plus Fluent in English, other European and/or Asian language would be a plus
