JOB SUMMARY:  

The Scooter Program Supervisor will oversee, continually develop, grow and manage the Scooter Program at Woodward West. They will supervise all aspects of the Scooter Program including staff,  daily responsibilities , as well as developing a fun and interactive environment for campers. The Scooter Program Supervisor will support the marketing, content, and development of the Scooter Program sponsorship plan. The supervisor will help support the overall Scooter industry relationships and developments.     

This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations involved in running the Scooter Program. This includes all scheduling, facilitating mandatory sessions, clinics, events and supervising all staff within the program. The Scooter Program Supervisor will aid with parent-camper communications as needed.

Pay: $20.00 an hour 

Camp Counselor Exemption – 85% Per California Exemption Wage Order 5 

All other applicable deductions will be applied 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:  

Preferred experience in leadership 

Preferred 3+ years of experience working with kids and/or teens.  

Experience working in a camp environment is preferred.  

Some college preferred  

Experience in action sports coaching required  

Health and Safety Certifications   

Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, comfortable presenting and deploying new technologies.  

Demonstrate broad technical knowledge of management techniques.  

Ability to project manage and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time.  

Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.  

Is creative. Can conceptualize ideas. Can think "outside the box". Can implement ideas.  

Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team.  

BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS:  

As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected. FBI and DOJ fingerprint screening required.  

CPR Certification
