As a Screen Press Operator, you\u2019ll be hands-on with the setup, maintenance, and operation of our silk screen press, making sure every product meets customer specifications. If you\u2019re detail-oriented, love working with machines, and have a knack for troubleshooting, this role is perfect for you! ------------------------- What You\u2019ll Do: * Set-Up Specialist: Read work orders to get the specs for each project and set up the press accordingly. * Screen & Ink Master: Choose the right screen mesh and mix ink batches to perfection using scales and formulas. * Trial Run Pro: Start the machine and perform trial runs to make sure the setup is accurate. * Quality Monitor: Keep an eye on the machine, detecting any malfunctions and making adjustments as needed. * Image Registration Guru: Make sure the image is perfectly registered and square, running samples to ensure print quality and color accuracy. * Standard Operating Procedures: Follow all SOPs relevant to the job to keep everything running smoothly. * On-the-Run Adjuster: Make routine tweaks during the press run to maintain high-quality output. * Record Keeper: Track daily production info to keep records up-to-date. * Handy Problem-Solver: Replace any damaged products with hand tools to keep things moving. * Maintenance & Troubleshooting Whiz: Perform daily and monthly maintenance, troubleshooting issues to keep the press in top shape. * Flexibility: Jump into other tasks as assigned\u2014there\u2019s always something new to learn! ------------------------- What You Bring to the Team: * Experience: At least one year of experience running, troubleshooting, and performing quality checks on similar-sized presses. * Document Savvy: Able to read and interpret safety rules, SOPs, and operating instructions. * Tech Skills: Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping. * Math Skills: Comfortable with intermediate math for measurements and mixing formulas. * Mechanical Know-How: A natural mechanical aptitude. * Quick Decision-Maker: Strong decision-making skills for fast-paced problem-solving. * Reliability: Great attendance and a willingness to work overtime when needed. ------------------------- Why You\u2019ll Love This Role: In this role, you\u2019ll have a direct hand in creating high-quality, custom-printed products.
