Screw Machine Operator A Location : HOUSTON, TX, United States Job Family : Manufacturing Job Type : Regular Posted : Mar 5, 2025 Job ID : 55181 Back to Search Results Job Description Apply Now > Save JobJob Saved Skilled machinist who sets up, operates and maintains automatic screw machines to produce precision parts. + Installing and adjusting tools such as collets, bushings, cams, gears, and stops on the screw machine based on the part design and blueprint + Feeding metal bar stock into the machine + Monitoring machine functions, adjusting speeds and feeds, and ensuring proper machining cycles. + Inspecting produced parts using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances + Identifying and resolving machine malfunctions or tooling issues + Preforming routine cleaning and lubrication of the machine + All other duties as assigned by Supervisor or lead designee + Understanding of machine and how to adjust setting for optimal productions + Ensuring consistent quality by closely monitoring machining processes + Diagnosing and resolving machine issues + Attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures + Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances based on blueprints + High School Diploma or equivalent + 1-2 years of experienced or on the job training in receiving procedures Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies.
