Job DescriptionDevelop and deliver comprehensive training programs for surgical technology studentsDemonstrate proper use of surgical instrumentation, equipment, and aseptic techniquesProvide hands-on instruction in surgical procedures and protocolsAssess student performance and provide constructive feedbackMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practicesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and infection control protocols

Qualifications

 

Associate's degree and current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certificationExtensive experience as a Surgical Technologist with proficiency in instrumentation, equipment, and aseptic techniquesIn-depth knowledge of surgical procedures and protocolsStrong communication and demonstration skillsNo prior teaching experience required; willingness to learn and grow in an educational role
