Job Description

As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate and support two hardware Agile teams in implementing Scrum practices, removing impediments, and promoting self-organization. You will drive continuous improvements to enable the team to become high-performing.

You will be part of the Mechatronic Development Cluster Hardware Department within the IGT Fixed Systems R&D organization, working with diverse and multi-cultural teams on lifecycle management (LCM) and new product introductions (PDLM). In this role, you will ensure Agile methodologies are effectively applied while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.


Your role:

As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in driving Agile excellence within the hardware team. Your responsibilities include:

Leading Agile practices as the Lean/Agile process authority for the Scrum team and its stakeholders.

Empowering the team to self-organize, solve problems, and continuously improve.

Coaching and supporting the team to achieve goals, remove impediments, and enhance collaboration.

Embedding the Hybrid Model standards and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.

Facilitating Agile rituals and ensuring smooth execution of Agile processes.

Optimizing backlog management by maintaining high data quality and driving predictability in planning.

Monitoring team performance metrics and ensuring commitments align with PI Planning targets.

You're the right fit if you have:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant R&D working experience.

Experience as a Scrum Master or project manager in managing hardware Scrum teams and deploying Agile methodologies.

Strong communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills with a team-oriented mindset.

Experience with Agile Release Trains and backlog management, ensuring high-quality execution of Agile processes.

A quality mindset, with a DFSS / Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certification (preferred).

Program management experience and familiarity with IGT systems (preferred).

This role is an office-based role. We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
