HOW A SCRUM MASTER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
 

The SCRUM Master is responsible for the following:

Guide scrum-team through all sprints of a program increment, removing impediments and championing the teamOrganize and facilitate sprint planning and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile related eventsTrack and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and managementAssist the scrum team in developing and estimating user stories that are clearly articulated with well-defined acceptance criteriaUpdate agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogsAssist with internal and external communicationAssist product owners with backlog groomingAssist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definitionDetermine and remove impediments that interfere with the ability of the teams to deliver assigned goalsFacilitate discussion and conflict resolutionPromote continuous improvement and help teams to increase velocityPromote a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity and innovation

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experienceExperience leading Agile Scrum teams in a cloud environmentStrong understanding of DevSecOps and /or software/application development processesAdvanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniquesStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience with Atlassian Agile Products; specifically JIRA and ConfluenceActive TS/SCI clearance required to start and must be able to obtain a CI Poly"
