About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Scrum Master to join us. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with a scrum team to deliver value iteratively and incrementally.Facilitate and support all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective as well as defect reviews when needed.Facilitate team productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.Ensure that goals, scope and product backlog items are understood and can be fulfilled by team membersCollaborate with Product Owner, requirement owners and team to identify and clarify scope of business/systems requirements and help build healthy backlog for teamSupport the team’s efforts to continuously improve communications and relationships with other delivery teams; represent the team in the Scrum of Scrums (SoS), helping the team remain aware of engagement opportunities and program effectiveness Helps the team embrace Agile Core Values, adopt, and apply Agile Principles, and implement Agile practices.Utilize data and team metrics to demonstrate team capacity, predictability, & maturity.Create various metrics as needed to help with gathering overall program status and product deficiencies.Assist with monitoring project progress against cost and schedule and resolving variance.Validating completion of scheduled project activities and milestones.Build strong relationships with customers, clients, vendors, and employees. Be the “go to” person for all project related matters.Creating and briefing presentations, reports, metrics to project team, leadership and client.Follows, develops and measures key performance indicators (KPI). Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent amount of experience.At least five (5) years of Scrum Master experience.Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e., Scrum, Kanban) and understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practicesAdept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniquesKnowledge or experience with Salesforce or AWS technologies Ability to establish and implement project management processes.Strong hands-on knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Must be able to clear a Public Trust clearance
