Job summary: Title: Scrum Master Location: Remote Length and terms: Long term - W2 or C2C Position created on 02/03/2025 07:13 pm Job description: Interview Type: Skype *** Very long term project; initial PO for 1 year, expect to go for 4+ years *** **Remote*** need 3 references Description: The Scope of this project will be to modernize the existing lotus notes application to .Net application while considering the business process optimization or digitizing the manual business process at the Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ). With this project the aim is to achieve process efficiencies & streamlined to improve the user experience, and reduce manual workarounds for OJJ employees on the operations side. The scope of the proposed services will include the following: + Facilitation of Scrum Master + Daily Scrum Meetings + Sprint Planning Meetings + Sprint Review Meetings + Sprint Retrospective Meetings + Maintain Team Dynamics + Coaching team members (e.g., with one-on-one coaching) + Mediating through impediments & conflicts + Identifying outstanding project and product decisions impacting team delivery + Fostering the assigned team’s self-organization + Supporting Team, Project and Organization goals with project leaders and product owner(s) + Giving feedback to the team + Encouraging the use of Agile Practices within the development teams + Recognizing team productivity issues & fostering continuous improvement methods to resolve the issues. + Help in product related activities + Helping teams and vendors with the release planning + Being familiar with the team (i.e., the product) + Supporting the big picture + Bringing people together who should talk to each other + Keeping in touch with every stakeholder regularly + Helping the team report to management + Helping to further the Agile community within the organization + Being a contact person for everyone on the team and their stakeholders regarding Agile + Giving learning opportunities to people in the organization (e.g., talks or workshops) and letting them learn important Agile concepts (e.g., technical debt) + Facilitating change Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory: + Five (5) years minimum experience working in the Scrum Master role + Familiarity with JIRA + Agile software development (Scrum Methodology) + CSM certification + experience with Lotus and/or .Net projects + government experience + Experience preparing presentations for project stakeholders + Experience facilitating team building activities Contact the recruiter working on this position: The recruiter working on this position is Sandeep(Shaji Team) Maraganti His/her contact number is His/her contact email is sandeep.maraganti@msysinc.com Our recruiters will be more than happy to help you to get this contract.
