About the Role  

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to join our team working on the Solid State Program. This role will be based in Shanghai and will involve managing a distributed team of professionals from Europe and China. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster collaboration across diverse cultural and geographical boundaries. This role requires a leader who can drive innovation, promote teamwork, and ensure the successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions in the solid-state domain.  

Key Responsibilities  

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) to ensure effective team collaboration and progress tracking.  

- Act as a servant leader to the development team, removing impediments and fostering a self-organizing, high-performing team environment.  

- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure clear communication of project goals, priorities, and deliverables.  

- Promote Agile principles and practices within the team and organization, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to Agile frameworks.  

- Manage and resolve conflicts, ensuring a positive and productive team.  

- Track and report on team progress, using metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and other relevant KPIs.  

- Support the team in adapting to changing requirements and priorities, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness.  

- Facilitate cross-cultural communication and collaboration between team members in Europe and China.  

- Drive innovation by encouraging creative problem-solving and the exploration of new ideas within the team.  

- Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate team members toward achieving project goals.
