Scrum Master (ATF)
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Scrum Master. This role is integral to our IT team, guiding the adoption of agile practices and values, coaching the team in self-organization and cross-functionality, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of IT solutions that drive business value. Responsibilities • Facilitate the adoption of agile practices and values within the team and organization to enhance customer satisfaction. • Coach the team in self-organization and cross-functionality, enabling them to deliver Team Based Solutions (TBS). • Work closely with stakeholders to foster an understanding and acceptance of empirical product development. • Protect the team's autonomy, ensuring self-organization without external interference. • Identify and remove impediments, or guide the team towards the right personnel to resolve these obstacles. • Support and educate the Product Owner in value management practices for effective Product Backlog refinement and prioritization. • Foster a safe, trusting environment where issues can be raised without fear of blame or judgment, emphasizing problem-solving and healing. • Facilitate work completion without coercion, assigning, or dictating tasks. • Aid in internal and external communication, improving transparency, and disseminating information. • Observe team interactions, providing feedback and learning opportunities when appropriate. • Encourage open, honest communication among team members, including the Product Owner. • Assess team maturity and coach the team towards higher levels of maturity at a sustainable, comfortable pace for both the team and organization. • Collaborate with other Agile Team Facilitators to enhance the effectiveness of agile adoption within the organization. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders • Proficient in planning processes and procedures • Understanding of policy and practices within an Agile environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or a related field is preferred • Strong decision-making skills and ability to guide product development • Familiarity with Scrum patterns and other software development processes • Experience with bug tracking and backlog grooming • Skilled in conflict resolution and facilitation • Committed to fostering a sustainable work environment • Ability to interpret and apply principles of Scrum Master role effectively.
