Iron Mountain Data Centers is looking to hire a certified Scrum Master to join our Data Enablement team. You will take responsibility for the facilitation of our end-to-end Agile scrum development processes. You will work closely with architects, developers, analysts, engineers, and management to deliver high-quality solutions in a planned and iterative manner. This role requires an extrovert with strong communication, facilitation, and project management skills, along with mastery of the Agile Scrum processes, ceremonies, and artifacts.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate development activities using the Agile Scrum development framework within ServiceNow

Organize and drive sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews

Ensure product backlogs are well-defined, prioritized, and achievable within the given timeframes

Coordinate technical documentation creation/maintenance and make available in the wiki repository

Identify and remove impediments and roadblocks that may hinder the team's progress

Write technically detailed themes, epics, stories, scrum tasks, and acceptance criteria

Foster a culture of transparency, trust, and communication within the team, mgmt, and stakeholders

Drive adherence to Agile best practices during the entire software development life cycle

Proactively consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Provide timely feedback to the team and management to help drive continuous process improvement

Stay up to date with and implement industry trends and advancements in Agile methodologies

Create, update, and maintain sprint metrics, artifacts, processes, agreements, and action plans

Publish weekly status to highlight achievements, risks, blockers, future sprints, and burndown velocity

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

Must be an Agile Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with professional certification provided as evidence

2 years of Scrum Master work experience directly supporting IT, SDLC, data lake, or DWH initiatives

2 years of hands-on IT experience with demonstrated outcomes in agile project management

Extroverted, vocal, strong communicator, with top-notch organizational and time management skills

Excellent written communication, small group facilitation, with strong interpersonal skills

Detailed understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile software development

Ability to inspire and elevate processes within a collaborative and self-organizing team environment

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; courage to raise issues and influence change

Expert proficiency in agile project management tools and software

Ability to adapt to multiple or changing priorities and work in a fast-paced complex IT environment

Continuous learner with a passion for agile methodologies and continuous improvement frameworks

Emotionally intelligent, organized, self-disciplined, self-motivated, able to work with little supervision

Strong attention to detail and dedication to delivering high quality outcomes on time
