Scrum Master Sr

Founded in 2008, Locumsmart provides web-based software-as-a-service solutions to the healthcare recruitment industry. The Locumsmart web-portal provides workflow automation, vendor management (VMS), and managed services provider (MSP) software for lowering costs, and increasing the efficiency of recruitment. Our clients include some of the largest hospital systems and staffing firms in the country. 

Locumsmart is looking for a Scrum Master to join our Technology team. As a Scrum Master, you will focus on applying and optimizing agile practices to maximize team performance and effectiveness. You will have a proven track record in building high performing teams in an agile environment. This role will report to Manager, Product Management.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate scrum ceremonies including standup, planning, review/demo, grooming, and retrospectives.

Facilitate continuous improvement opportunities that focus on inspiring teams to be self-organized and high performing.

Create visibility into each sprint through use of velocity, burn down charts, committed vs. completed metrics, etc.

Proactively identify and remove blockers that impede your team’s progress.

Demonstrate a robust understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle to help guide the team through each phase seamlessly.

Qualifications:

In-depth understanding of agile methodologies and how to apply them effectively to drive team success.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, facilitating collaboration across diverse team priorities and capabilities.

Strong conflict resolution, coaching, mentoring, and servant leadership skills

Ability to work with team members to size stories, plan and forecast using proper estimating techniques.

Experience working with Product Owners and Product Managers to write or validate user stories to ensure they meet definition of ready.

Exceptional organizational and facilitation skills to drive efficiency in team process.

Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Google Workplace Suite, and MS Office, Figma

Education & Years of Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, other business discipline or equivalent experience.

5+ years’ experience leading software development projects, including 3+ years’ experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban.

Preferred Skills

Scrum Master certification or PM certification preferred.

Ability to influence without authority and build trust at all levels and have a keen sense of self-awareness.

Strong skills in problem solving, collaboration, reasoning, negotiation, decision making and consensus-building.

Demonstrate a high level of dependability in all aspects of the job; foster an environment that is relationship and customer focused.

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $64,900 -- $197,100 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location. 

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
