Scrum Master, GSM Product Lines

We are looking for an energetic, self-starter to join our Enterprise Information Technology team to help us identify and deliver business solutions, in partnership with Global Supplier Management Group and Information Technology colleagues. These critical functions operate at a global scale, supporting our business in over 130 countries. 

 

Scrum master role is accountable for sound execution of agile portfolio programs and facilitating the adoption of agile methodologies for Supplier Management, Travel Meeting & Employee Expense and Procurement product lines. 

 

Key Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

 

Facilitate Agile Practices: Serve as a Scrum Master for one or multiple teams within the Enterprise IT department, ensuring the effective implementation and adherence to Agile principles, values, and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban. 

Guide the team(s) in planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering projects using Agile methodologies. 

Coach the team(s) on Agile practices, such as sprint planning/review/retrospective, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, etc. 

Promote continuous improvement within the team(s) by identifying and implementing best practices and Agile techniques. 

Team Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and trust within the team(s) and with stakeholders throughout the organization. 

Facilitate effective communication and coordination between team members, ensuring everyone understands project goals, priorities, and dependencies. 

Act as a bridge between the team(s) and other stakeholders, including Product Managers, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Testing teams, ensuring smooth cooperation and alignment. 

Resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and escalate critical issues impacting the team(s)'s productivity and success. 

Metrics and Reporting: Gather and track relevant Agile metrics to assess team(s) performance and progress, providing visibility to stakeholders. 

Analyze data and identify trends to guide decision-making and continuous improvement efforts. 

Ensure that the team(s) adopt appropriate Agile project management tools and collaborate effectively using digital platforms. 

Agile Coaching and Training: Act as a coach and mentor, helping team members and stakeholders understand and embrace Agile principles and practices. 

Provide guidance on Agile roles and responsibilities, ensuring the team members understand and fulfill their respective roles effectively. 

Conduct Agile training sessions for team members and stakeholders, spreading awareness and understanding of Agile methodologies and their benefits. 

Stay up to date with industry standards and trends in Agile practices, adopting new techniques and approaches as appropriate. 

Actively participates in the Agile community. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelors in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in large, complex IT development projects 

Good working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban or another Agile framework awith proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an IT or software development environment.  

Knowledge of enterprise IT processes, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and project management principles. 

Experience in managing multiple stakeholders, with the ability to coach and counsel. Supporting team through providing good practices & tools to maximize the value delivered. 

Experience in delivering products end-to-end through several releases using principles of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and quality automation. 

Exposure to MVP and build measure learn concept and principles.​  

Working knowledge of Pharma regulations, Experience Design, and Advanced Analytics. 

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities, with a focus on removing obstacles and ensuring team productivity.   

Preferred certification in Scrum Master and proficient with Agile Methodology, tools and DevSecOps approaches.
