Job Description:

Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Scrum Master at GDIT. HOW BEING A SCRUM MASTER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Perform IT Project Management and Scrum Master functions for a team of 4Supporting our ServiceNow divisionWill be heavily involved in the financial ROM processManage a portfolio of 2-6 ServiceNow application projectsDeveloping and managing to a delivery roadmapEstimating LOE (via hours) for forecast estimates. Drives the Scrum team to find efficiencies and to constantly improve themselves Mentors the Scrum team to be self-organization Leads the team to making their own conclusions and decisionsDoes not make decisions on behalf of the team Shields the team from outside interference Coaches the Product Owner, Scrum team, Stakeholders, and the greater organization on Agile ideology and Scrum best practicesHelps all parties understand their role in Scrum and how to work together effectively What makes a good story so the team can work on itCan help guide Product Owner on vision for what they want to accomplishDirect engagement with contractor leadership that centers upon career development/mobility, enhanced performance evaluation, and corporate information sharing & networking opportunities

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

The likely salary range for this position is $140,250 - $189,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
