Santander Consumer Finance UK (SCUK) is based in Redhill, Surrey and provides motor finance to a network of dealerships throughout the United Kingdom. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and organised Data Access & Commissions Advisor to join our team on a Part time basis (23 hours per week).
In this role reporting to your Team Leader, you will be responsible for investigating and responding appropriately to customer commission queries received through Complaints, Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) or Letters of Claim. You will work through customer commission queries received through DSAR’s and complaints, ensuring that you keep to a high-quality level of service for our customers, and you will also regularly liaise with our legal representatives to ensure all regulatory and legal responsibilities are met.
Please note the hours for this role are 23 hours per week spread across either four or five days. These hours must be worked between Monday – Friday, 09:00-17:00.

Responding to customer commission queries in writingFollow company policy always adhering to service levels and current legislationLiaise with other areas of the business, including our internal and external legal teams to ensure complex customer queries are satisfactorily responded toTo ensure all customer related data is accurately recorded and factual in line with GDPRInvestigate, log, resolve and response to customer or claims management company queries surrounding Credit Files, Complaints and Data Subject Access requests within the regulatory time frameDeal with or escalate any identified risks in relation to Santander Consumer risk policies and/or legislative and regulatory guidelines in accordance with the Santander UK group risk frameworkEnsure all relevant legislation and regulation is followedAny other ad hoc and reasonable requests from the management teamWe’re looking for someone with:
GSCE’s for Mathematics and English at an A-C grade (or equivalent)Solid customer service experience (ideally in the Financial Services sector)Their own initiative to resolve complex customer queriesA positive, enthusiastic approach and someone who is receptive to changeThe ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesExcellent attention to detailStrong written communication skills, as well as strong numeracy skillsConfident telephone & call handling skillsGood interpersonal skillsPlanning and organisation skillsOther things to know:
The training for this role requires you to work onsite until you are at the required standard – and as per the line managers discretion. Once this is achieved, you will be able to work on a hybrid basis (a mixture of working in the office and working from home) this is subject to line managers discretionOnce you start your hybrid working, after training is complete, as a part timer you will be expected to work onsite at the Redhill office at least 10 days per monthYou will be required to work 2 bank holidays (pro-rated accordingly) during the year and receive overtime pay at the appropriate rate to compensate youInclusion
