The Data Quality and Controls Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive data quality and controls programme that ensures accurate, complete, and reliable data across all our systems.
As the Data Quality & Controls Manager, you will be responsible for creating and leading the implementation of the company's data quality strategy. In addition, you will manage data quality and integrity initiatives, workstreams, and line manage Data Quality Analysts as part of the wider Santander Consumer UK (SCUK) Data team. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data quality issues and oversee the implementation of data quality controls.
Please note this role is a hybrid role with at least 3 days a week in the Redhill office. Remote workers will not be considered.
Responsibilities will include:
Support and manage the design and implementation of data quality and integrity controls, aligned to the Santander data management policiesBuild and manage data quality and integrity controls using SASMaintain, monitor and support existing SAS data quality and integrity controlsResponsible for ensuring appropriate data integrity controls are designed, tested, implemented and operated across SCUK’s internal systems and external connections to third party systems and data sourcesPartner with the business to influence and enhance the value of Data Quality across the companyManage project workstreams relating to data quality and integrityManage the Data Quality team, including direct line management and resource management, to ensure effective delivery to the businessEnsure monthly data quality reporting is completedEnsuring ongoing compliance with Risk Data Aggregation requirements under Basel regulation BCBS239Take a leading role in fulfilling ad hoc requests and projects related to data quality and integrity controlsAssist in the maintenance, implementation and annual review of relevant models, policies, and proceduresDeal with or escalate any identified risks in relation to Santander Consumer risk policies and/or legislative and regulatory guidelines in accordance with the Santander UK group risk frameworkAdhering to our commitment to Consumer Duty ensuring we put our Customers’ needs first and set higher and clearer standards of consumer protectionWhat we’re looking for:
