This is an exciting opportunity to join our finance team as a Financial Management Processor for Santander Consumer Finance UK (SCUK). This Processor will be responsible for the allocation of all cash and cash related transactions for Volvo, SCUK, HCUK.
Please note this role is a hybrid role with at least 3 days a week in the Redhill office. Remote workers will not be considered.
Responsibilities will include:
Reconciling and processing credit card payments to customer agreementsEnsuring that all documentation is passed for scanning and providing cover if requiredValidating cheque paymentsEncoding cash & cheque payments to customer agreementsPerforming a daily reconciliation of cash transactions processed versus transactions bankedBanking cheques to Walker FinancialsScanning supplier invoicesResolving supplier queries in a timely manner, referring to senior resource where necessaryReconciling supplier statements to ensure accuracy and integrity of profit & loss accountUpdating Walker Financials with supplier transactionsValidating and encoding supplier invoicesInvestigate and resolve internal customer queries received by both telephone and emailAdhering to our commitment to Consumer Duty ensuring we put our customers’ needs first and set higher and clearer standards of consumer protectionWhat we’re looking for:
An interest or qualification (AAT) in finance/accounting would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be providedUse of SAGE Accounts would be beneficialExcellent MS Office skills, especially Excel which is necessaryIndependent; ability to operate effectively with minimal guidanceWell organised, goal orientated, able to meet deadlines and able to prioritise workAbility to work to tight deadlines and to work well under pressure with several issues simultaneouslyExcellent communicator, confident in approaching other business areasKeen attention to detail and advanced analytic skillsWe have a range of benefits available which include:
