The Amazon Customer Fulfillment team is looking for passionate individuals who love to play a key role in the development of world-class internal customer-facing interfaces and back-end services that make them possible. You are a talented Software Development Engineer who knows how to get things done, and done really well, you like making customers' lives better and want to be part of a team that builds "from scratch" a new technology platform for Customer Fulfillment.
It's still Day 1, and we're at the beginning of building out an entire suite of global solutions. You and a team of developers will work through all phases of the project life-cycle, including reviewing requirements, designing services that lay foundation for the new technology platform, build new interfaces and also integrate with existing architectures, developing and testing code, and delivering seamless implementations for our customers.
We are looking for passionate Software Engineers who have experience building innovative, applications that customers love. As a member of the team you will help with design, implementation and launch of many key product features. You will have influence on defining product features, drive operational excellence, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.

About the team

GRT Development Team is a central team within RME and responsible for implementing projects that drive Product, Program, Reporting and Analytical initiatives. The team was created in Q2 2019 before which individual teams were segregated across multiple organizations. The team currently supports software development and technology infrastructure requirements for 11000 RME personnel across 900 network locations including North America Customer Fulfillment (NACF), Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF), Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), Amazon Air (Air) and Amazon Logistics (AMZL). The team work in collaboration with GRT NA/EU product team and program team to develop both short and long- term product strategies to deliver software applications and services that have a direct and measurable impact on the Global RME customers.
