Job Summary:

Designs and develops software and system testing guidelines, documents, and templates for integrated applications and software solutions developed by the Product Engineering teams. Additionally, this position ensures testing workloads are distributed among the Software Quality team and provides guidance for skills development and training. Design, Develop, Test and Execute automation scripts. Ensuring that automated tests are integrated and execute reliably in our CI/CD environments. Analyzing daily test results for failures and filing appropriate defects. Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure that defects your tests identified are properly prioritized and driven to resolution. Analyze upcoming platform feature and service integrations for needed test coverage. Defines and leads performance testing tasks for quality assurance purposes. Develops guidelines for performance testing to ensure compliance standards are met. Functional Automation and Performance Automation of the Azure hosted REST API's and web applications Collaborate with different teams to understand automation needs and implement the same. Should be self-motivated and Ready to take ownership of the assigned work. Being a team player that can deliver in a high pressure and high demanding environment. Analyzes business/ functional requirements and prepares automated test suite that validates functional and non-functional requirements. Strives for personal and organizational improvement - passionate about making sense of information to suggest new possibilities for improvement and pushing those ideas forward; seeks out new experiences, knowledge, and open to learning and change. Time-estimation skills for setting management expectations are strongly desired. Demonstrate a passion for software Quality Assurance and testing automation with real-world project citations. Technologies:

Must have 5-6 years' experience as a Software Automation Engineer. Hands on Experience in Selenium with Java or any relevant testing framework, JAVA Scripting, Protractor, and Unit test tools like Jasmine or Karma. In depth experience in writing detailed and accurate test cases, test scripts, and test results. Proven ownership of test projects, designing test approaches, documenting and regressing bugs, and executing test passes. Experience with RESTful web services and Microsoft azure platform is strongly desired. Extensive Performance, Stress, Scalability, Capacity, functional, white box, security testing experience with strong web application development experience. Passionate about software testing with the key ability to think critically to identify software breaking issues. Must be able to operate with minimal oversight and operate within a self-organizing scrum team. Experience with SQL and data retrieval from a relational database is a plus Tools: Visual Studio 2012/2015, VSTS for source code and defect tracking Education Requirements for the Position:The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
