Job Description Insight Global is seeking a strong, mission-driven Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to support our federal client remotely on an exciting new program. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. You will collaborate closely with product owners and development teams to create comprehensive test plans and cases, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to high-quality coding practices. Additionally, you will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain clear documentation of testing processes and results. Sharp technical expertise with the required tools is essential. We are looking for someone who is highly skilled in java and the performance testing tool JMeter to advise other team members and contribute effectively to the current project phase. Participation in Agile ceremonies is required for team alignment and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable adapting to new technologies and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Although this position is remote, quarterly visits to Elkridge, MD, are required. $38hr to $65hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
