As a Senior Direct Support Professional Float (SDSP-Float), you will hold an esteemed position providing superior direct care support services to our clients.  This role demands a high level of expertise, reliability, and flexibility to ensure the stability of service locations with minimal daily direction.  Assigned to multiple programs supporting clients with complex needs, you will serve as a role model for others, upholding the highest standards of client service quality and contributing positively to team morale.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Provide hands-on direct care to assigned clients within the assigned group of programs in the region.Deliver expert-level care to clients, utilizing best practices, available tools, and knowledge of HIL policies and procedures.Act as lead DSP for all assigned shifts, ensuring completion of all expected duties.Mentor Direct Support Professionals, providing training on essential procedures and serving as a positive example.Maintain high-quality care standards, in alignment with client service plans and company code of conduct.Fulfill weekly schedules determined by the Supervisor, with adjustments made as necessary.Commit to work 2 of the 3 available shifts and serve effectively within assigned programs.Receive a guaranteed 40 hours per week, with schedules determined 2 weeks in advance.Enjoy one full weekend off within a 4-week period and two days off every week, with a minimum of 8 hours between shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 3 years of direct care experience in a community-based or equivalent setting is requiredCommunication & Problem-Solving SkillsAbility to manage stressful conditions by maintaining self-composure and self-controlSuccessful completion of a caregiver background check, TB test & Communicable Disease ScreenA Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
