Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and may be expected to have a related master’s degree and normally possess 10-15 years of related experience. Experience with requirements verification and validation, design trades, risk analysis, and system analysis of space hardware. Experience with certification of human spaceflight hardware Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Experience working in a team environment. Familiarity with industry standard software tools and programs (SharePoint and Microsoft Office products, etc.) Experience in Model Based System Engineering and general-purpose modeling language Must have excellent communication skills and experience leading and motivating technical teams when necessary. Presentation and interface skills are required. Must have the ability to successfully interface with client representatives and manage completion of tasks on schedule and within budget to the customer's satisfaction for systems engineering applications is preferred.
