Reporting into the Director of Electrical, Firmware and Software Engineering, the **PCB Technician** is responsible for supporting the finalization of Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) designs, ensuring they are production ready. This role serves as a critical bridge between engineering and manufacturing, with a focus on documentation, change management, and supply chain support. As a PCB Technician, you will work closely with Development Engineers to implement final design updates and oversee the transition from prototype to full-scale production This position is part of the Engineering department, located in Bellevue, WA and will be based on-site. **In this role, a typical day could include:** + Finalizing PCBA designs for release by ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with manufacturing requirements. + Creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and maintain Oracle system entries to support product releases. + Providing up-to-date PCBA manufacturing packages and assist in resolving vendor inquiries to support procurement and production planning. + Collaborating with electrical engineers to update schematics and PCB layouts, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with production requirements. + Ensuring all design changes and documentation updates are correctly implemented and aligned with production needs. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who excels at bridging **engineering and production** , ensuring a seamless transition from **final prototype to full-scale manufacturing** . The ideal candidate thrives in an **independent work environment** , requiring minimal supervision while consistently delivering high-quality results. **The essential requirements of the job include:** + Experience with **PCB design tools** such as PADS, including **component library management** , **part creation,** and **documentation workflows** . + Proficiency in **CAD tools** such as AutoCAD or Draftsight for 2D drawings and documentation. + Familiarity with **BOM management, ECO processes** , and **PLM/ERP systems** (e.g., **Oracle** ). We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
