Sea Logistics National/Cluster Revenue Manager

The Sea Logistics National/Cluster Revenue Manager has a critical role and is a senior leader within the Sea Logistics organization.
Responsible as part of the Sea Logistics management team for ensuring the national organization maximizes yield & revenue and Blue Anchor Line development opportunities in alignment with our Road Map 2026 / Vision 2030 objectives and global pricing policies.
Co-located with NS/ZS, the National/Country Revenue Manager is responsible for driving pricing and commercial strategies (aligned with the national and global sea logistics management teams) to Customers through the coordination and alignment of various stakeholders (such as, but not limited to, Sales, CCLs, Trade Management, Global Pricing, KN partner stations).
While maintaining a proactive communication plan, the National/Country Revenue Manager maximizes revenue opportunities, driving market leading gross profit yields whilst delivering above market Blue Anchor Line volume growth.
**Your Role**
As the National/Country Sea Logistics Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Leadership: Leading the Country Pricing Teams identifying talents and ensuring constant development and empowerment
• Strategy Development: Developing pricing strategies at trade-lane, client, and area levels.
• Tender & Pricing Management: Ensuring correct databases are maintained to support our global tender and Spot Pricing processes as directed by the MS-R team. Maintaining and coaching the management teams on a detailed understanding, knowledge and monitoring of all common industry indexes (Xeneta, SCFI and others)
• GP Yield Management: Overseeing GP yield management, allocation, and market trends
• Strategic Development: Collaborating with KN Network to develop Pricing strategies
• Business Growth: Fostering volume growth by taking/approving reasonable risks as per NS/ZS country strategy
• Execution: Ensuring adherence at Country level to Global Pricing strategy, systems and processes
• Result management: Monitoring performance against annually agreed KPI’s
**Your Responsibilities**

Your
Responsibilities
Yield
Maximization:
- Identify
opportunities together with trade management to implement improved
trading strategies for the national customer portfolio to maximize yields
and volumes
- Identify
and implement yield improvement plans across the customer base
- Identify
on a monthly basis low-yield accounts and manage peak and slack season
strategies to optimize yield
Margin
protection
- Ensure
that local charge tariff are regularly maintained and updated, minimum to
recover inflationary impact in a country
- Collaborate
with Corp Trade Managers on allocation management:
- Ensure
optimization of carrier allocation in accordance with national volume demand
Account
Management:
- Monitor
major accounts against their MQC of each trade, booking adherence to
contractual agreements, and carrier performance against committed space
allocation
RFQs
and Pricing Requests:
- Effectively
manage corporate/national Tenders and local spot pricing requests
Sales
Collaboration:
- Work
closely with the KAM teams, NS-D & Area ZS-D’s, field sales, to
maintain existing business and win new business
Market
Monitoring:
- Monitor
sea logistics market and trade-lane trends in conjunction with corporate
resources
Performance
Metrics:
- Set
and drive pricing KPIs, ensuring right price, right time for our
customers
System
and data management
- Ensuring
all supporting databases for country pricing Tenders and Spot Pricing are
correctly and regularly maintained
Subject
Matter Expert Participation:
- Host
and participate sea logistics and sales meetings as a pricing expert
Sales
Training and Pipeline Reviews:
- Conduct
regular pipeline reviews and trainings with country sales as a sea
logistics expert, guiding strategic development
Client
Meetings:
- Participate
in client meetings to assist the sales organizations as a subject matter
expert in sea logistics and RFQ preparation
- Participate
in client meetings to assist the sales organizations as a subject matter
expert in sea logistics price negotiations as appropriate
Communication:
- Provide
regular news and market updates, together with intelligence on trends and
opportunities to country sales, and country sea logistics management
- Material
and process to be aligned with standardized market updates and trade
calls
Special
Projects:
- Assist
KN management in special projects as necessary.
**Your Skills and Experiences**
**Experience:**
• Minimum 5 years in Ocean Pricing and RFP management.
• Proven track record in creating and managing all aspects of RFPs.
**Technical Skills:**
**•** Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
**Analytical and Communication Skills:**
• Exceptionally strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Outgoing personality, capable of presenting and explaining subject matter to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects, working well under pressure.
• Ability to work independently, taking ownership of deliverables.
