Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Cincinnati is looking for a new Sea Logistics Sales Manager to join our Sea Logistics team. Your Role The Director of Strategic Business Development will drive market share growth and business development by establishing and leading a Customer Care Location (CCL) that aligns with KN’s vision and values. Through strategic market outreach, fostering key partnerships, enhancing customer satisfaction, and focused engagement, the role ensures a customer-centric culture while positioning the company as an employer and partner of choice. Your Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with customers, local industry stakeholders, and community partners, including Chambers of Commerce, Trade Associations, and other key organizations. Lead customer visits, presentations, and business negotiations to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, ensuring KN’s strong market presence.Foster a positive, customer-centric culture within the CCL by aligning with company values, leading by example, and collaborating with internal operational and commercial teams. Serve as a local contact for area sales, KAMs, and Trade Specialists to amplify business opportunities.Cultivate long-term customer relationships, oversee onboarding processes, address escalations, and monitor satisfaction levels to achieve retention and growth targets.Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan, emphasizing new business development, cross-selling company products, and promoting digital solutions to enhance customer engagement and experience.Analyze market dynamics, competition, and customer needs to align strategies with company objectives. Use this awareness to identify opportunities for growth and ensure operational and commercial priorities are well-supported.Collect and analyze customer feedback to work with operations and refine service delivery and ensure continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and retention efforts.
