The Holecutter performs a wide variety of fiberglass lamination tasks.  Lamination tasks performed include parts- cutting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Locates and cuts holes and parts needed for standard and optional fitting and equipment using a variety of patterns and measurement tools. Assists in controlling material usage in designated area. Operates hoist and trams.Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent1 year of related boat building experience required; 3 years fiberglass lamination experience preferredAbility to read a tape measureAbility to work in a hot and dusty environment, using protective clothing and respirator if neededRequires ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, powered and manual

Additional Requirements:

Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalMust be able to adapt to changing requirements in a positive and proactive wayAbility to interact professionally and effectively with all levels within the organizationMust be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Must possess the desire and ambition to work safely at all times and report all hazards to their Supervisor immediatelyMust understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and  other regulatory agenciesMust be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirators etc.Must be able to understand and complete the OSHA questionnaire, pass spirometer test and physically wear a respirator where requiredMust be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, standing, etc., with or without reasonable accommodation.Must be able to understand all safety related document and worksite rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems, and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment.

The pay range for this position is $18.15 - $23.60, hourly. In additional to base pay, an hourly lamination premium of .60 will be added. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.  In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus or short-term incentive program.
