Position Overview:

Trauma SEA lead will play a pivotal role in the advancement of Trauma, CMF and Power Tools Business of Johnson Johnson MedTech across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. This position demands a strategic thinker with strong execution capability, responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle from launch to market success to product rationalisation. The position will report into the Head of Orthopaedics for SEA and will be part of the SEA Orthopaedics Leadership Team. This role will require strong collaboration with SEA cross-functional stakeholders as well as strong engagement with the Global and APAC teams.

Key responsibilities

1. Strategic Marketing Plan Development and Execution:

o Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic marketing plan utilizing the Launch Excellence (LEX) Framework. Collaborate closely with global and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment with global strategy while adapting to local market dynamics and opportunities.

o Work closely with country and Southeast Asia Regulatory Affairs and Supply Chain teams to ensure SEA countries gain early access to new products and prioritized supply allocation.

o Look at share, mix and price as levers for growth of the Trauma, CMF and Power tools business in SEA. Work on the SEA Surge Growth project to drive accelerated growth in SEA.

2. Surgeon Training Plan Development and Execution:

o Partner with regional AO Manager, Professional Education team to develop curriculum, workshops, and certifications tailored to meet the needs of surgeons in Southeast Asia.

o Partner with country teams to execute surgeon training programs that ensure proficiency on Trauma, CMF and Power Tools among surgeons in the SEA region.

o Monitor training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed to optimize surgeon engagement and competence.

3. Sales Training Plan Development and Execution:

o Collaborate with regional Commercial Education team, SEA field Trainer to create and implement comprehensive sales training programs designed to equip the sales force with the knowledge, tools, and skills required to effectively promote our Trauma, CMF and Power Tool solutions.

o Track sales performance metrics and provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure achievement of sales targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, product management, or business development within the medical device industry, preferably in Orthopaedics or Trauma Surgery.Proven track record in launching and commercializing medical devices or digital solutions in the MedTech industry.Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in other languages spoken in Southeast Asia is advantageous.Willingness to travel extensively within Southeast Asia and internationally as required.
