What You'll Do
Operational Support:
Act as the primary point of contact for employees requiring assistance with travel arrangements, including hotel bookings and flight selections.Provide guidance on hotel selection before travel, especially in high-demand situations or when availability is limited.Assist in reviewing and validating hotel expenses to ensure spending is justified.Evaluate and provide recommendations for out-of-policy flight requests, offering appropriate redirection or approvals where necessary.Reporting & Data Analysis:
Analyze travel data to identify trends in policy adherence, booking behaviors, and cost-saving opportunities.Track and report on flight booking patterns, including in/out-of-policy trends and advance booking habits.Monitor compliance with rate caps and ensure employees are adhering to budget guidelines.Provide insights and recommendations based on data to improve travel efficiency and cost-effectiveness.What You'll Bring
5+ years working experience in meeting and event services, destination management company or related filed.Experience in corporate travel management, operations, or a related field.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret travel data and identify trends.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to support employees and liaise with travel partners.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple travel requests and reporting requirements.Strong knowledge of travel & event industry Bachelor’s degree in tourism, hotel management or related field preferred Event agency’s experience will be a plus to this roleBoston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
